Check out these A B C Cleaning Tips I found on the Robbie's Recipe web site. Tips like these are reallly time savers to use when cleaning up for you next get together.

Ant Repellant: To keep ants out of the house, find where the ants are entering the house and sprinkle a "barrier" of cinnamon or any type of ground pepper to block their way. The spices are too hot for the ants to cross. (Submitted By: Tony & Sherry Lorsung) Cucumber peels have the same effect. (Submitted by NIKEITA)

Bathroom Odors: Place an opened box of baking soda behind the toilet to absorb bathroom odors.

Carpet Stains: Baby wipes are miracle-workers on carpet stains, from motor oil to blood, they remove almost anything!

I’m a new mom and have decided to stay at home with my baby for the first few years. As a 1st time mom, I’ve found it a little more difficult than I would like to admit and I went online looking for some good advise.

Check out this website for some great links.
Resources for the Stay at Home Mom

I found a site with Colic relief products and a site on potty training techniques. I joined a mom support group and was paired up with a mom who is going through the same things.

My first tip that I would like to share with every new mom is that you’re not alone. When friends and family offer to help, take it you’re not expected to be a superhero.

My second tip is to take your baby and get out of the house every once in a while. Stay at home mom does not mean you have to be cooped up in the house 24/7. Go to the park, shop at the mall or join a mommy and me group. I joined a Gymboree class offered at the local YMCA. We formed a play group and I’ve been able to make some great friends.

Being a new mom is not easy, but when I look into my little boys eyes I know that it so worth it.
